A Tires 101 lesson on ...
Suspension or "Why does my vehicle still handle poorly after I put new tires on?"

Usually when the second or third set of tires have been installed on a vehicle, the suspension system (shocks, front end components, springs, struts, etc..) have already gone through 50,000 - 100,000 miles of the roads with chuckholes, rough tracks, speedbumps, and washboards.  This wear and tear is tough on your vehicle's suspension system.  Often times when vehicle tires are replaced it is because you can't stand the ride you are getting from your vehicle, not your tires!  Tires are an easy fix, so we try that before we replace expensive suspension systems.  If your suspension system is the problem, new tires will not improve your vehicle's ride.

Approximately 90% of the tires on the road today are out of alignment, are inflated to the wrong air pressure or have not been rotated at the right time.  Any of these conditions will lead to your tires wearing out prematurely.
